What being an IB pays: income from referral commission

Every lot your group closes generates a commission. The broker pays that out, steadily, to somebody. If your name is not on a partner account, that somebody is not you. Ten years in this trade, and I will tell you the downside as plainly as the upside.

  • A higher rate than the default tier
  • An EA that pushes signals automatically
  • Someone on duty looking after clients with you
  • Gifts to help you hold your group
  • How I actually use AI to work faster
One minute two seconds — someone on my team on what the IB trade really is and who it suits. In Vietnamese.

Three reasons to put your name on it

Income that repeats

While your clients keep trading it arrives every month, with nothing to sell again. Quite unlike selling a course or a product, where the sale ends it.

No capital, no stock

Nothing to buy in, no price risk to carry, no joining fee. What you put in is the relationships and the time you already have.

Counted on lots, not on deposits

The commission comes out of trading fees your clients already pay. Nobody needs to deposit more, and nobody needs to lose for you to earn.

Work it out in 30 seconds

Take the number of people in your group, times the lots each of them trades in a month, times what the broker pays per lot. That last figure is exactly what the broker table shows — between 4 and 39 dollars a gold lot, depending on the broker and the tier.

Ten people, five lots each

Fifty lots a month. At a broker paying around 20 dollars a gold lot, that lands near 1,000 dollars. This is an example of the arithmetic, not a promise.

That money is already being paid

It is not new money squeezed out of clients. It is what the broker already spends on whoever referred them, every month — the only question is to whom.

The steadier the group, the clearer it gets

A few people trading now and then adds up to little. A group trading every week is a different matter — that is when putting your name on it is worth doing.

The real figure depends on the broker, the partner tier and what your group trades. Message me with the broker name and a rough volume and I will work it out on the rate actually in force.

What a broker IB actually is

An IB is a broker's referrer — short for Introducing Broker. Every broker runs one of these programmes. You open an IB account in your own name, the broker gives you your own link and your own portal to read the numbers. Clients who come in through that link earn you a commission on every lot they close.

Your account, at the broker

Not an account I hand you. You log in with your own details, read the numbers in the broker's portal, and the broker pays you directly on its own schedule.

You never hold client money

Client money stays with the broker from start to finish. You receive nothing, place no trades for anyone, and carry no responsibility for their profit or loss.

Nothing binds you to me

No contract, no targets, no joining fee. Stop whenever you like — the partner account stays yours.

Four steps to becoming a broker IB

The only real work is step 2. The other three are talking and waiting for the broker to approve.

  1. 01

    Message me

Tell me roughly how many people are in your group and which brokers they use. I will say plainly which brokers suit and which do not.

  2. 02

    Register with the broker

You sign up to the broker's partner programme through my referral link. The application is in your name, and the broker approves it.

  3. 03

    The broker issues your link

You get your own link and your own partner portal. Your clients open accounts from there and the broker records them automatically.

  4. 04

    The broker pays you

Read the numbers in the broker's portal and withdraw the way the broker allows. The money goes straight from the broker to you, never through my hands.

Why me and not someone else

10years in this trade, from trading by hand to building reconciliation systems
3,000people in the community active with me every week
10,000+clients opened accounts through me and my team over those ten years

Those three figures you have to take on my word — you cannot verify them from outside. And the real question is not whether to be an IB. It is whose line you stand under.

So here are three things you can open and check yourself, right here on this site, before you message me a single word.

I hand my entire share back to retail clients

Ordinary clients coming in under my link get 100% of what I receive. Every payment sits in the public payout ledger, with a date and an amount. Anyone keeping that share for themselves would not dare open the book.

Figures measured on my own live accounts

I hold a running account at every broker and measure the rate on that account. Not the fee sheet brokers send partners to go recruiting with.

I say what is wrong with a broker too

Which ones have had a rating removed, which have swarms of fake sites, which are a nuisance to withdraw from — I write it out instead of only showing off the high rates.

What you get by working with me

Here is what comes with being an IB under my line, starting with the rate the broker pays you. I use all of it every day; none of it is a service package bolted on. Use it or not as you like, at no extra cost.

A higher rate than the default tier

My line sits at a high tier at every broker in the table, so the broker places you on that tier from the start rather than the beginner default. The exact rate is the broker's to set and moves with volume — open your own partner portal and you will see it.

An EA that pushes signals

The EA I run on my own account, pushing signals to the group automatically, with setup instructions. A group with tools stays longer.

Someone to look after clients with you

When you are busy or away, someone on duty answers your clients. Looked-after clients do not drift off.

Gifts for your clients

For holding people through the hard stretches of the market. You do not have to fund this yourself.

How I use AI

Making content and handling clients faster. I show you exactly what I use, not theory.

None of this is a condition for the commission rate the broker gives you. That rate is the broker's decision and I cannot influence it.

Registering direct with the broker, or through my line

Both routes work. The difference is that the broker pays you more through my line — and what comes with it is another matter entirely.

Tell me which broker your group uses and I will tell you straight what tier my line sits at there.

What I get out of it

Said plainly so you do not have to guess: you register under my link, so the broker pays me a share based on your group's volume — the second tier. That is the broker's money. It is not taken out of your share and it is not a fee you pay me.

I run no scheme of my own

Hoan Phi Trading has no in-house IB programme, no separate portal for you, and holds back and redistributes nothing. Everything happens between you and the broker.

Which is why I want you to do well

I only earn while your group genuinely trades, month after month. Pushing you to whichever broker pays me most and then watching your group leave costs me more than it makes.

How the first three months actually go

The money does not arrive the moment you open. This is the real rhythm, including the dullest stretch, so you do not quit halfway thinking you did something wrong.

Week 1

Pick a broker and apply

One conversation settles the broker. The application takes fifteen minutes. Approval usually takes a few days, longer at some brokers — this part is waiting.

Weeks 2–4

The slowest stretch

Moving your group onto your link. People without an account are easy. People who already opened under another line have to request a transfer, and not every broker approves it. Do not count the whole group into your first month.

Month 2

The first money

Commission starts arriving on the broker's cycle. It is almost always smaller than the figure you worked out at the top of this page, because only part of the group has moved and nobody trades steadily in that first month.

Month 3

The numbers start to read

By now they are steady enough to show your group's real volume. This is the point at which it is worth sitting down and asking whether to add a second broker.

The biggest obstacle is not paperwork, it is moving existing accounts. Message me before you tell anyone to open a new one — a few brokers allow a line transfer with open positions intact, and doing it properly saves you people.

Before you tell anyone to open a new account, send me one message — transferring a line the wrong way loses people.

The question you are about to ask

I do not want to look like I am recruiting

You do not need to pull anyone into the market. This only works when your group already trades — your job is to route them through the right link, not to find new people.

What if a client loses and blames me

Say up front that you place no trades for anyone and promise no returns. Many IBs also hand part of the commission back to their group, which reads as a discount on costs and is far easier to talk about.

Registering under you means you take a cut of mine

No, the reverse — you end up on a better rate. My share sits on the tier above, paid separately by the broker, and is not deducted from yours. Open your own partner portal and you will see the rate in force.

I am busy, I have no time

The heavy part is choosing the broker and setting up, a few sessions. After that the broker records clients and calculates by itself, and you just read the numbers.

What to send, and what you get back

So you do not have to work out how to open the conversation.

You send three lines

Roughly how many people are in your group · which broker they use · whether they trade gold, currencies or indices. That is all — no paperwork.

The first session gives you

An estimate worked out on your group's volume · two or three brokers that fit, with reasons · the registration steps · the places newcomers get stuck. About thirty minutes.

You do not have to decide

If it does not look worth it, that is fine — and I will say plainly if your group is not yet big enough. I do not call you back, I do not add you to any group, and the session costs nothing.

Whose line is your group trading under

If the answer is somebody else, the commission from your group flows into their pocket every month, including the months you do nothing. Send me three lines and thirty minutes will tell you whether it is worth doing.
